962,897. Cutting tiles. AMSTERDAM CORPORATION. May 29, 1963 [Sept. 20, 1962], No. 21463/63. Heading B5E. A tile cutter comprises a knife edge 5 formed on a handle 6 which is pivotally mounted on a second handle 4 formed with an anvil 2 having a V-shaped notch 3 therein, a scoring wheel 10 being rotatably mounted on the anvil. The faces of the anvil supporting the tile are sloped upwardly from the notch in order to concentrate the force applied by the knife edge to the scored line on the tile.
