962,664. Packages; collapsible containers. PANTAPLAST G.m.b.H. Nov. 29, 1960 [Dec. 2, 1959], No. 41036/60. Headings B8C and B8D. Thermoplastic film liquid &c. packages have nozzles 2 secured to them by a ring 4 surrounding the film and holding it against the nozzle. The film may cover the nozzle aperture a piercing tool being used to permit discharge of contents. The nozzle may be fitted either internally or externally of the container and may be attached to a web or tube of film prior to packaging. The nozzle may be shaped or grooved to cooperate with the ring and roughened to better grip the film. The ring may be welded in position. The nozzle may be at an angle to the package axis. It may be closed by a cap. The ring may secure a string, label, &c. to the package.
