[Also in Division F4] In a laundry machine having a horizontal-axis rotary basket mounted in a tub 11, support means for the tub 11 include a rod 17 disposed parallel to, below and to one side of said axis, torsion sleeve means 18 on the rod 17 and clamping means 19 fitting around sleeve 18, there being means 23,14 . rigidly connecting rod 17 and clamping means 19 one to tube 11 and one to the machine outer casing. A drive motor is mounted on the underside of the tub 11, and tub 11 has counterweights (not shown). The machine is used for washing, rinsing and spindrying.
