Abstract
The invention comprises compounds of the general formula: <FORM:0957462/C2/1> (wherein R1 represents an alkyl radical of 1-6 carbon atoms or a phenyl or phenalkyl radical, R2 and R3 each represent a hydrogen or halogen atom, R4 represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl radical of 1-6 carbon atoms or a dialkylaminoalkyl radical having 2-4 carbon atoms in the alkylene group and 1-4 carbon atoms in each alkyl group, and R5 represents a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group of 1-4 carbon atoms) and the mono-acid salts of the compounds in which R4 is a dialkylaminoalkyl group, and the preparation thereof by (a) reacting a compound of the general formula: <FORM:0957462/C2/2> (wherein Hal represents a chlorine or bromine atom) with a compound R4NHR5, or (b) heating a compound of the general formula: <FORM:0957462/C2/3> with a compound R4NHR5, or (c) in certain cases, reacting, in the presence of an aicd-binding agent, a compound of the general formula: <FORM:0957462/C2/4> with a reactive ester of a compound R41-OH (wherein R41 has the meanings given for R4, other than a hydrogen atom or a phenyl group), and in all cases, if desired, when R4 is a dialkylaminoalky group, converting the product into a mono-acid salt by reaction with an inorganic or organic acid. The products have analgesic, antiphlogistic and antipyretic activity.
