953,115. Electric battery lamps. WORLD-LIGHT MANUFACTORY Ltd. Dec. 20, 1962 [Jan. 12, 1962], No. 1276/62. Heading F4R. An electric battery lamp comprises a battery casing 1 supporting a handle 2 in which is carried a rotatable member 8 having a slideway to receive a strut 7 so that it can be moved longitudinally into the handle when aligned therewith, and a lamp 4 mounted on the end of the strut. A second lamp 3 is carried on a pivoted bracket 6 at the opposite end of the handle to the lamp 4. The lamp 4 is pivoted on a pin 9 on the end of the strut and may be a blinker lamp. If the battery is of the type having screw terminals at opposite ends of the top, the casing 1 can be dispensed with, the battery being secured direct to the lid 1a.
