951,300. Multi-compartment bags. A. A. BOBBINS. Sept. 18, 1962, No. 35418/62. Heading B8K. [Also in Division F4] A bag for use as a cooling package comprises a flexible outer envelope 2 and an inner openended envelope 9, a releasable tie 6 being used to constrict the outer envelope and to close the open end 10 of the inner envelope. The latter may be secured at one end to the outer envelope 2 and in use contains a chemical which, when the tie 6 is released, mixes with a further chemical in the outer envelope to produce cooling. The envelopes are preferably formed of polyethylene.
