A bird feeder composed of only three parts made of a thermoplastic material comprises a plate 1 having upwardly directed projections 3 arranged in a ring formation, each projection having a recess 4 into which snaps an annular flange 6 on the lower end of a tubular hopper 5 so that the hopper is supported above the base of the plate, a cover 8 being a push-fit over the upper end of the hopper. An annular collar 12 on the plate defines a trough and the plate is also provided with a central projection 13 extending into the hopper and serving as a seed distributer, and a socket for receiving a support rod S.
