948,422. Cooking apparatus. R. A. B. LANG. May 8, 1962 [May 8, 1961], No. 17696/62. Heading A4D. A toaster attachment for gas burners, particularly those of camp stoves, comprises a pyramidal structure 9 open at both ends, formed by a pair of telescoped metal parts 10, 11 the side walls of part 10 having flanges 27, 28 embracing the part 11. Bread slices are toasted on hand-rotatable grids 51 fastened removably by clips 54 to either side of the structure which overlies a burner 3 of a camp stove 1 and is held in position by having slots in its side walls engaged on the cross-bars 6, 7 of the stove grid 5. The parts 10, 11 either assembled or singly, can be laid flat on the grid 5 above the burners to provide either a warming enclosure or a hot plate, respectively.
