Abstract

940,614. Protective arrangements. VIBRATECHNIQUES S.A. Feb. 12, 1962 [March 28, 1961], No. 5214/62. Heading H2K. A three-phase apparatus, e.g. an electric concrete vibrator, is protected against excess currents and short-circuits by two trip coils 12 of a three-pole thermal-magnetic circuit-breaker 11 and against overheating by a thermal switch 4 incorporated in the apparatus 3 and connected in series with the third trip coil 12 of the circuit-breaker 11. The circuit-breaker 11 has two poles connected between two of the supply lines (L 2 , L 3 ) and the apparatus 3, the other supply line L 1 being connected directly to the apparatus. The third pole of the circuit-breaker is connected in series with the thermal switch 4 across the lines L 2 , L 3 so that in the event of overheating, the switch 4 closes to trip the circuit-breaker 11.
