Abstract
938,012. Casting composite articles. PECHINEY COMPAGNIE DE PRODUITS CHIMIQUES ET ELECTROMETALLURGIQUES. Feb. 15, 1960 [Feb. 17, 1959], No. 5361/60. Class 83 (1). [Also in Group XIII] In apparatus for heating a fluid by solar heat (see Group XIII), a heat absorber 3, made by roll-bonding two aluminium or aluminium alloy sheets, to form fluid passages 5, is mounted in a casing containing insulation 9 and having a transparent upper wall formed by at least one panel 2 (of glass, polyethylene, polyethyl- or polymethyl - methacrylate or, polyamide) mounted in an aluminium or aluminium alloy frame 1 which is cast around the panel. The air-tight casing is completed by a base-plate 10.
