936,263. Manifolding stationery. P. DRESCHER. May 1, 1961 [Dec. 2, 1960], No. 15616/61. Addition to 869,389. Drawings to Specification. Class 16. Sets of forms each consisting of a top sheet, copy sheets and interleaved carbon sheets glued together at the heading strip and joined to form a continuous web by means of an extended part at the foot of one sheet (preferably the top sheet) of each set connected to the top of the corresponding sheet in the succeeding set, as claimed in the parent Specification, is modified in that a pressure-sensitive adhesive is used to secure succeeding sets together and recesses, notches, embossings or like markings are made on the reverse side of, for example, the lowermost copy sheet of each set, in the heading and foot parts of the sets. The pressure-sensitive adhesive comprises rubber and/or synthetic resins in acetone or alcohol. The markings are sensed by a mechanical, optical or electrical device for counting and guiding the sets of forms.
