935,967. Releasable fastenings. FLEXIGRIP Ltd. (Flexigrip Inc.). Nov. 6, 1961, No. 39659/61. Class 44. A fastener comprises a pair of flexible strips 10 of resilient material each integral with a web 12, the webs having a number of interengaging formations 13, 13<SP>1</SP> to hold them together, and in which when assembled, the strips lie in general planes, parallel and offset from one another, each being connected to its web by a linking portion 11 which extends from the respective strip through the general planes of the other strip to the respective web, the general planes of the webs being inclined to the general planes of the strips. With this construction forces acting between the strips parallel to their surfaces tend to press the formations together.
