930,237. Tufted carpets. CANADIAN CELANESE Ltd. July 27, 1960 [Sept. 18, 1959], No. 26139/60. Class 74 (2). A tufted carpet comprises a woven backing 15, a carded lap 19 and tufts 17 which penetrate the lap 19 and are anchored to the backing 15 by an adhesive 21. The carded lap 19 supports the pile and prevents crushing.
