Abstract
A test bottle suitable for determining the <PICT:0919599/III/1> <PICT:0919599/III/2> fat content of a stratified liquid as described in Specification 918,847 comprises a bulb (11), an elongated neck (12) and a tube (15) passing through the bulb wall and terminating interiorly at a point close to the bottom of the bulb and exteriorly at a level below the opening of the neck. As illustrated in Fig. 1, to which the above numerals relate, the neck is graduated to enable the volume of the fat stratum to be read directly. Fig. 2 (not shown) provides an orifice in the interior portion of tube 15 whereby liquid may be withdrawn from an intermediate level in the bulb and Fig. 3 shows a tube 22 for the same purpose.
