Abstract

917,215. Mounting terminals. CAMBRIDGE THERMIONIC CORPORATION. June 9, 1959, No. 19729/59. Class 38 (1). A terminal member comprising a terminal post 22 integral with a cup-shaped base 25, the walls of which are slotted to form teeth 28 with or without inwardly directed tips 28.2, is attached to an insulating body 41 of polyethylene, P.T.F.E. or similar material by inserting one end of the body in the base 25 and pressing the teeth 28 inwards to grip the body. The opposite end of the body has a mounting- screw 21.2, Fig. 3, attached thereto in a similar manner, the shank 31 of the screw, by means of which the assembly is attached to a panel, being provided with a cup-shaped head 25 with slotted walls for this purpose.
