916,729. Vehicle steering-wheels. BARKER & RONE Ltd. Sept. 20, 1961, No. 33631/61. Class 80 (4). A cover for a steering-wheel of a motor vehicle comprises an endless band of fabric having a rubber ring adjacent each margin and a lining of resilient foamed material adapted to engage the steering-wheel and thereby reduce any tendency for the cover to slip. The foamed material may be a polyurethane foam or foam rubber and the fabric may be velvet or velours. The rubber rings are located in closed passages formed at the edges of the fabric. The lining may be applied before or after mounting the rubber rings. Specification 516,269 is referred to.
