Abstract
A positive thermo-electric element for a thermocouple is produced by hot pressing a powder of a zinc-antimony intermetallic compound containing 2%-3% by weight of lead. The intermetallic compound has a zinc-antimony weight ratio of 35 : 65, the lead is added to the melt of the alloy. The alloy is crushed and hot pressed at 300 DEG C. to 450 DEG C. at 2000 kg/cm.2. U.S.A. Specification 2,366,881 is referred to.
