Abstract
910,966. Junction boxes. GREY & MARTEN Ltd. April 28, 1960 [April 29, 1959], No. 14595/59. Class 38 (1). Joined together ends of electric cables are protected by a cover comprising two tubular parts 1, 2, of plastic material, the mouth of the outer part 2 being of increased diameter forming a socket for the part 1 and having an internal shoulder limiting the telescoping together of the parts, the outer end of each part being formed with a single cable receiving opening which can be welded at its outer end 6 to the cable cover. In modifications (Figs. 2 and 3, not shown), either both the outer ends of the ports are formed with two or more different diametered openings for joining different diameter cables or one port only has its outer end thus formed, the outer end of the other port being formed with two or more parallel small openings through which smaller diameter leads may be taken.
