Opened and cleaned fibres are fed to a battery of carding machines through pneumatic conveyers feeding first to a reservoir and then from the reservoir to a further conveyer discharging to the carding machines. The subject matter of this Specification is substantially the same as that described in Specification 910,759, but the claims differ.
