Abstract

900,669. Glazing strips. METAL MOULDINGS (PROPRIETARY) Ltd. Nov. 10, 1960 [Nov. 13, 1959], No. 38670/60. Class 20 (3). A channel - section glazing frame 16 for a window or door is rebated at 26 to accommodate a glass pane 24 and packing-strip 30, which are retained in position by a resilient stainless steel glazing bead 32, the flanges 36 of which are pushed through, and engage the edges of the slot 28. The ends of the glazing beads 32 are mitred to fit the corners of the sash frames. In another embodiment (Fig. 4, not shown) two glazing beads are inserted into two apertures in the frame and retain the glass pane between them.
