898,323. Bobbin winding apparatus; attaching yarn to bobbins. FARBENFABRIKEN BAYER A.G. Jan. 9, 1961 [Jan. 7, 1960], No. 919/61. Class 120(2) A support 1 for a bobbin sleeve 5, Fig. 1, is rotatable about a shaft 2 that is hollow, the shaft 2 having a suction nozzle such that the end of a thread 6 can be sucked into the hollow shaft 2 to hold the thread end whilst the thread is delivered by hand to a thread guide 8, Fig. 2, of a traversing device 9, the thread being then carried along by entrainment means 4 to the bobbin sleeve 5.
