Abstract
Compounds of the general formula <FORM:0890912/IV (b)/1> (wherein R1 is a lower alkyl, aryl or aralkyl radical and R2 is a lower alkyl radical) are prepared by reacting a tertiary amine of the general formula <FORM:0890912/IV (b)/2> with a sulphur dihalide. The reaction yields a mixture of positional isomers which are separated by fractional crystallisation of their acid addition salts. The invention also includes the fumarate and hydrochloride of the compounds of the general formula I in which R1=R2=CH3. By "lower alkyl" is meant an alkyl radical containing six or less carbon atoms. Specifications 863,546 and 863,549 are referred to.
