Abstract

890,695. Closure caps. CONTINENTAL CAN CO. Inc. July 12, 1960 [July 13, 1959], No. 24312/60. Class 125(3). A press-on closure cap 6 has a depending skirt portion 8 formed with an inturned bead 10 containing detents 15 equally spaced around the circumference of the cap, the shank 20 of the detent being sprung under a bead 23 on the container. The seal is effected by a resilient gasket 11.
