Abstract

888,583. Furniture gliders. GOODFELLOW, W. L. Jan. 6, 1960 [Jan. 8, 1959], No. 711/59. Class 134 A foot for furniture having legs inclined to the vertical comprises a flat under surface a curved upwards around its periphery to merge into an upper surface from which projects an inclined portion a<SP>2</SP> for receiving the leg 2. The foot is provided with an external rib to assist in locating the foot relative to the furniture so that the under surface a rests horizontally on the floor. The foot may be secured over a brass ferrule 1 on the lower end of the leg by use of a phenolic resin adhesive. Specification 786,077 is referred to.
