Abstract

776,380. Friction grip fastenings. LEATHER. R. Oct. 12, 1955 [Dec. 9, 1954], No. 35702/54. Class 44. [Also in Group XIV] A clothes line support comprises a post 1 with guide means at its upper end for the line 4 and a member 5, slidably encircling the post and having two opposed arms 6 to one of which the line is secured, the line being locked frictionally, against the post, by tension in the line. A protective cap 3 is provided for a guide pulley 2 and the tubular post is inserted in a socket embedded in the ground. The post and the member 5 are, preferably, plastic-covered.
