Abstract
888,545. Switch handles; switch contacts. WARD & GOLDSTONE Ltd. Oct. 30, 1959, No. 36887/59. Class 38 (5). [Also in Groups XXII and XXV] A switch dolly 5 is secured to the base moulding 3 by a shank 1b which is passed through a hole. 2. in the base with its head 1a engaging shoulders in the hole, and with the shank end protruding above the base to receive a pin 4 which is located in a transverse recess in the base and forms a pivot for the,dolly. The ends of the shank are then bent towards each other to secure the pin 4. A single shank may be used centrally of pin 4 or a shank may be positioned adjacent each end and inserted into a shallow groove in each side of the base. A conducting part, e.g. a fixed contact, may be integral with the head 1a.
