Abstract
887,081. Electric transformers. ASSOCIATED ELECTRICAL INDUSTRIES Ltd. April 4, 1960 [June 5, 1959], No. 19335/59. Class 38 (2). In a laminated transformer core, alternate packets of laminations are displaced with respect to the others to increase the area exposed for cooling, particularly in an oil-filled tank. A vertical core leg, comprising packets of laminations 1a displaced relative to packets 1b makes mitred joints with the yokes whose laminations are also displaced.
