883,710. Cylinder cooling and construction; lubricating. SULZER FRERES S.A. May 19, 1958 [May 20, 1957], No. 16022/58. Class 7(2). To facilitate cylinder head removal, operative media, except fuel and air for combustion, are conveyed thereto, and therefrom if not consumed in ' the engine, by tubes such as 6, 9, 10, 14 having packed connections within the head 7 and cylinder block 2. Cooling water enters by the tube 6 and leaves by the tubes 9, 10, and lubricating oil for a rocker 13 enters by the tube 14 and leaves by a further tube (not shown). In another embodiment, such tubes convey control air to and from, and operating air to, a cylinder-head starting valve.
