A roof construction for liquid fuel containers comprises a system of radially disposed trusses W and booms S, and a centre key-piece composed of an upper part Z and a lower part C (Fig. 2), the upper part having a rigid tubular member 1 with welded supporting plates 4 and bearing plates 3 for the trusses and connected by means of a tubular element 5 with the lower part C which is formed with a rigid ring 6 with plates 8 for anchoring the booms S.
