Abstract
880,963. Spinning yarns; twist-tubes &c. SDRUZENI PODNIKU TEXTILNIHO STROJIRENSTVE. Dec. 12, 1958 [Dec. 13, 1957], No. 40085/58. Drawings to Specification. Classes 120(2) and 120(3) In a process for the continuous manufacture of yarn or roving directly from loose, e.g. glass staple, fibres, an air or liquid stream directs the fibres into a rotating cage-structure by which they are compacted and twisted. The cage-structure incorporates ribs which converge towards a point at which they define an outlet aperture where fibres are restrained in the course of their twisting.
