Class 52(2) A chair has an assymmetrical back rest a preferably with a downwardly curved top edge, and connected to the seat c by a relatively narrow neck d which can be straddled by a rearward facing user. The back and seat may be stamped and bent in one piece from sheet plastics or the back may be separate and detachable. The legs are preferably provided with angularly bent tops detachably connected by spigot and socket, bayonet catch or screwed joints to the vertical part of the adjacent leg. Two legs may be continued upwardly to function as stays for the back rest.
