879,913. Door handles. LEGGE & CO. Ltd., J., and LEGGE, J. E. May 16, 1960 [May 29, 1959], No. 18301/59. Class 44. In a door handle assembly adaptable for right or left hand, an abutment 18 is formed on a washer 16 riveted to the shank 12 of the handle 11, and co-operates with an abutment comprising a spring clip 21 supported on a projection 20, and with one of two fixed abutments 19, on the rose plate 10. The assembly is altered for opposite hand by swinging the handle through 180 degrees after removing the spring clip 21, and transposing the tension spring 22 to the other of the two anchor studs 24.
