Class 86 A rotary drum 3 for mixing concrete is adapted to be detachably mounted as by bolts 5 to a driving wheel 2 of an agricultural tractor or other machine; in the case of a vehicle the wheel is supported clear of the ground as at 6. There are helical stirrers 4 which mix or discharge the materials according to the direction of rotation of the drum, the base of which may be formed to correspond with the shape of the wheel.
