877,336. Photographic cameras combined with exposure meters. WESTON, R. M. Sept. 1, 1959 [Sept. 9, 1958], No. 28916/58. Drawings to Specification. Class 98(1) A still photographic, kinematographic or photomicrographic camera is provided with a visual comparison photometer adapted to compare with a standard brightness the brightness of an image of the object formed by the camera or microscope lens system. The invention is applied to still cameras in which an image is formed directly or by reflection on a focusing screen and to a kinematograph and a photomicrographic camera in which the image-forming beam is reflected towards an eyepiece, the image of the scene being combined in the eyepiece field by means of a photometer cube or mirror with the brightness of a lamp adjustable by a neutral wedge.
