In a worm-geared hose clip comprising a worm screw 6 journalled in a tubular housing 8 and having a neck portion 15, one end of the housing is formed with an inwardly directed flange 16 which engages the neck 15 and prevents axial displacement of the screw and indents 19 are formed in the housing wall between the worm screw and the clip band 11 to provide spaced pairs of opposed supports for the screw.
