Abstract
Polymers and unspecified copolymers of ethylene contain as stabilizers phenothiazines of formula: <FORM:0874331/IV (a)/1> in which R and R1 are aryl, alkyl, hydroxyl, -OX in which X is alkyl or aryl, or -NHY or -NY2 in which Y is alkyl or aryl and wherein m and n vary from 0-4. Optional ingredients are carbon black and unspecified antioxidants. The examples illustrate the effect of the stabilizers in accelerated ageing tests. Specification 874,330 is referred to.
