871,108. Storage bins. METROPOLITAN CONCRETE WORKS Ltd. Oct. 1, 1957 [Oct. 1, 1956], No. 29906/56. Class 20(1) A combined fence and bin unit for installation between adjoining houses having a common fence, comprises at least one pair of concrete bins arranged back to back, one on each side of a concrete fence portion, the fence portion extending above the height of the bins. The concrete fence comprises two vertical posts 3 formed with slots 6 for the reception of concrete slabs 7, and with wings 4 to which the concrete side walls 8 of the bins are bolted. The bins are completed by front walls 9 bolted to the side walls 8 and by roofs 13, doors 14 and 16 being provided in the roofs and front walls respectively. The lowermost slab 7 and the front walls 9 may be provided with ribs in order to form grooves for the reception of partitions, whereby the bins can be divided into two.
