Abstract
869,996. Hot-water boilers: hot-water supply systems; tubular heat exchangers. EISLER, B. July 15, 1959 [Jan. 14, 1959], No. 24325/59. Classes 64(1) and 64(3) Hot water for a draw-off supply is heated by a burner 1 controlled by a thermostat 2 in a combined boiler and storage vessel 3 and this water passes heat to tubes 13 through which flows water for space-heaters 7. A room thermostat 6 controls a pump 5 circulating the water in the room-heating system. Each tube 13 may be helically coiled, Fig. 2, and connected at its ends to separate chambers of a divided header 16. There is thermal insulation and an outer jacket (not shown).
