Class 120(3) A multiple yarn is made by bulking e.g. by false-twisting or crimping, individual continuous filament yarns which have different dye-absorbing characteristics e.g. one yarn is of nylon and another of polyethylene terephthalate, intertwisting the yarns e.g. one twist over 3-6 inches, and then dyeing so that fabric knitted with the multiple yarn will have a mottled appearance.
