Abstract

868,394. Agricultural implements. POWELL Ltd., J. E. C. Feb. 24, 1960 [March 20, 1959 ; Sept. 28, 1959], Nos. 9792/59 and 32888/59. Class 6(1). Furrow press wheels 2 are mounted on shafts 1 supported by bars 3 pivoted on plates 7 attached to the sides of a tractor. The bars 3 are pivoted on an adjustable bolt 9 and rest on an adjustable bolt 10 which allows free upward movement of the wheels 2. Inwardly extending plates 11 fixed to the plates 7 are attached to the tractor and are joined by a tension rod 14. A stiffening plate 16 is joined to the plates 7 by vertical fixing plates 17.
