Abstract

867,411. Windscreen wipers. TRICOFOLBERTH Ltd. March 13, 1958 [March 13, 1957], No. 8307/57. Class 138(1). A windscreen wiper harness for use on a curved windscreen, in which two parts which move with respect to each other according to the curvature of the windscreen are acted upon by a spring producing moments on the parts which, as the parts move with respect to each other in a direction to accommodate an increasing windscreen curvature, increasingly urge the parts in that direction. As shown, windscreen wiper arm attachment 30 is pivoted by pin 32 to yoke 28 and arms 26 and 27, the latter being urged towards the windscreen by spring 34. Specification 778,069 is referred to.
