862,799. Centrifugal separators. DUNLOP RUBBER CO. Ltd. (Brown, J. F.). Nov. 19, 1957 [Dec. 14, 1956], No. 38171/56. Class 23 A separator for concentrating rubber latex has a framework comprising rings 6, 7 and ribs 9,...14, the ribs engaging the edges of the stack of liner plates (not shown) and the rings engaging the wall of the bowl part 1. The framework has a lug 3 engaging the bowl, and the rib 12 locates the stack. After the hood 4 and stack are removed from the part 1, the framework may be withdrawn, the ring 7 acting as a scraper to remove sludge deposits from the interior of the part 1.
