Class 117 A sieve for use in combine harvesters or threshing machines is in sections 10 and 11, each of which comprises a flat sieving surface with holes 15 and longitudinally extending flanges 16. The sections are enclosed by a rectangular framework 12, and fins 20 are sandwiched between adjacent flanges of the sections and serve as partitions. The flanges and fins are rigidly attached together by welding.
