860,523. Vehicle lamp mountings. BUTLERS Ltd. Oct. 15, 1959 [Oct. 22, 1958], No. 33725/58. Class 75 (3). [Also in Group XXV]. A vehicle spot lamp mounting comprises a bracket b for attachment to the vehicle and having a ball c secured or formed thereon, a socket e for attachment to the lamp, and a spring-loaded two-part clamp contained in the socket and operated manually by a cam i located between the parts f, g of the clamp which abut the ball and the spring h respectively. The socket is constructed from two similar halves, and the spring preferably consists of a pad of rubber.
