Abstract

853,050. Castors. BASSICK CO. Feb. 26, 1959, No. 6756/59. Class 52(1) [Also in Group XXXII] The yoke 23 of a castor is horizontally pivoted on a bolt 35 to a rotatable head 21 and a pneumatic spring with a distortable chamber 26 and rigid-walled reservoir 25 connected by a throttle valve 27 is interposed between the pivoted parts. A rubber buffer 42 on the bottom of the chamber 26 limits its distortion and a valve 45 is provided on the reservoir 25 to enable compressed air to be introduced.
