851,504. Valves. BRITISH OXYGEN GASES Ltd., and SPINKS, K. (British Oxygen Canada Ltd.). Jan. 22, 1959 [Jan. 22, 1958], No. 2169/58. Class 135. A retaining cage 1 for a freely-floating, weight-loaded, non-return disc valve 3 has a plurality of inwardly directed projections 7 whereby the area of contact and the risk of adhesion between the cage and disc is minimized when the valve is fully open. The bent arms 5 of the cage are attached to a circlip 6 which fixes around the valve seat 2.
