Abstract
In a capsule for ensuring selective evaporation of the different constituents of a mixture of vaporizable substances e.g. perfumes, insecticides and deodorants, contained therein, the permeability of the capsule is different for the different constituents of the mixture, as a result of the chemical structure of the material forming the container, such that evaporation of the mixture, when contained in the capsule takes place substantially independently of the vapour tension of the constituents. The capsule may be made from plastic material, paper, metal, rubber, preferably used in the form of foils. The permeability could be modified by treatment by irradiation or by coating the material of the capsule with paint, varnish, or a metallised layer formed by evaporation under vacuum, or else to treat the said surface mechanically by roughening it, perforating it, pressing it between special matrices formed for example with a network pattern.
