Abstract
842,594. Covers for receipt and like books. EVERSHED & CO. (BOW) Ltd., J., and EVERSHED, N. W. Aug. 1, 1957 [Aug. 2, 1956], No. 23872/56. Class 16. A receipt or like book 11, bound as with staples or by flexible glue along the spine, has a cover 12 with a stiff back flap and a front flap 13 hinged at 14 to the book and having further hinge means 15 spaced from the hinge 14 sufficiently to enable the front flap to be folded round the back of the book. As shown , the cover 12 is of stiff material and one additonal hinge 15 only is provided. Two additional hinges may be provided so that the front flap fits closely to the spine. In alternative versions, double cloth covers have thin board between divided by sections with no board to form the hinges. The back cover may be wider than the book and the additional part creased as at 16, 17 to form a flap 18 to be under the top receipt form 19.
