840,454. Nailing apparatus. BOURNER & CO. (ENGINEERS) Ltd., F. H., and JUPP, D. L. Aug. 29, 1958 [Oct.18. 1957], No. 32621/57. Class 89(3) A nail driving tool comprises an axially bored body 1 housing a driving punch 10 and having nail retaining and guiding elements 7 housed in the body and retractably extending radially into the bore 2 adjacent the end of the body, which is applied to the workpiece, an opening 13 in a side of the body being formed at a position between the retaining and guiding elements 7 and the punch 10 when in its retracted position to permit a nail to be inserted laterally into the bore.
