1,222,029. Shanks; end mills. QUALCUT TOOLS Ltd. 19 June, 1969 [25 Sept., 1968], No. 45484/68. Headings B3C and B3K. A rotary tool has a cylindrical shank 10 formed with a screw-threaded portion 13 and one or more flat portions 14 and 16, whereby it can be received in either a collet chuck having an internally threaded sleeve to receive said screwthreaded portion or in a driving head having one or more set screws which co-operate with said flat portion or portions.
